LOC design team Call

I am excited this post is to apply for a position on the LOC design team I visit the blog regularly and the projects are amazing the following three project are probably my favorites
     

                                                         



I love my craft and what it brings to my life so if I can make someone smile when they have learn't something new by seeing what I have done then it is a good day for me ! 
I love to show someone how to achieve something they have been working towards but may have been a little stuck along the way. 
So wish me luck and I wish good luck to everyone entering there will be some fabulous entries to be sure.

Miss Audrey

I have had huge amounts of fun today playing with a new image from The Stamping Chef called Miss Audrey she is suave and sophisticated and oozes Victorian charm. Her timing was perfect for me as I also got an early birthday present this week in the shape of a Silhouette cameo so much fun was had. So I have created an easel card and here she is :)

Eye shadow and lips : RV 91,93,95
Hair: E23,25,27
Dress: RV91,93,95,99

The frame is from the Silhouette store and is called Ornate Oval frame 
The label on the base is also from the store and is the Vintage label.
The paper is from Graphic 45 French Country Collection and is called Grandeur 
Flowers from may stash are all from petaloo
The flourish die is from Di-namics 
I will be entering this project in the following challenges

Love is in the air !

Hello everyone welcome back to Card's by Kay it is release day over at Simply Steampunk Challenges and this month we are doing a re-release of an old favourite the fabulous Romance images by the very talented Abigail Larsen you can get these fantastic images from Simply Betty Stamps Here. For my release day image I have used Gwendolyn and I have made a side stepper card using papers from Graphic 45 Steampunk Spells which you can find out more about here. These images are just gorgeous and it is never too early too get organised for Valentine's Day for that special someone.

Alice

Hello and welcome back to Cards by Kay for my final showing for the fabulous Steampunk Alice in Wonderland collection . This has been a fantastic challenge these images are awesome !
 So my final image is " Alice " you can get her here from Simply Betty Stamps.

This image I think is very versatile I have fussy cut mine by separating the frame from the image, I have used the following Copic markers to color my image 
Hair: E51,53,55,57
Skin: E21,51,11,04
Dress: V0000,000,01,12,15,17
Shoes: C1,2,3
Stockings: V0000,000
Frame: E23,25,27,29
Label: E41,42,43

My base card is a cream card edged with Stampin Up ! Perfect Plum ink, I have layered this with Blackberry card from Bazzill and the paper is from Graphic 45 Halloween in Wonderland collection " the Mad Hatter" . The large flower and trinket in the top and bottom left corners are from Petaloo Here and go to the Petaloo tab at the top of the page for a better look. 
I have used a flourish die from Die-namics 
My lace is from and Ebay store called Laces Galore they have some gorgeous lace.
So ther you have her time is ticking down to join in our challenge for this month so if you haven't yet now is the time get creative and design an invitation or party announcement remember it has to be steampunk !

Betty's Birthday Blog hop

Welcome back to Cards by Kay today we are having a very special Blog Hop for a very special lady who has the biggest heart of anyone I know she never says no and will always put someone else before herself no matter what. She is the definition of a true friend !! So Betty Roberts sit back, relax and enjoy HAPPY BIRTHDAY !

Down the Rabbit Hole we go

Hello peeps and welcome back to Cards by Kay today is another showing for Simply Steampunk Challenges new release of the Steampunk Alice in Wonderland images which are designed by the fabulously talented Abigail Larson. Today I will be showing " Down the Rabbit Hole " which is available Here from the awesome Simply Betty Stamps.
           
                                                 

This collection has been a whole lot of fun to play so a huge thank you to Betty once again for providing us DT girls with some fantastic images to work with ! 
 So to color my image I have used Copic markers in the following colors

The Chippies frame has been glittered up with Honey Glow glitter available from Kaszazz

And paper is from the Graphic 45 Halloween in Wonderland range and is called " Square Hare " and there is still a little left in stock this range of papers is now discontinued and will get harder to get you can check it out here  just go to the Graphic45 tab at the top of the home page ! 
 In the meantime there is still plenty of time to get crafty and join us for our challenge which is create an invitation or party announcement ! Remember we are steampunk challenge site so make it steampunky !

Field of Poppies

Welcome back to Cards by Kay. Today's project is a gorgeous stamp from Sweet Pea Stamps and the very talented Ching Chou Kuik called Feild of Poppies, this is a truely beautiful image and I enjoyed coloring it up so much.

Time for a New Challenge at Punk You Girl

Hello and welcome back to Cards by Kay today at Punk You Girl we are bringing you a new challenge this month it is Angel's and Demons I have chosen two images from my collection the first one is from Sweet Pea Stamps and it is called Dark Angel you can get her here.

Clever Little Alice

Hi all and welcome back. It is challenge time at Simply Steampunk Challenges, and this month it is create a Party invitation or Party announcment. Us very luck DT gals are playing with the new release images of Steampunk Alice in Wonderland they are totally awesome and you can get yours here.

For the back of the invitation I have created this in word doc and used tags and banners from the Graphic 45 range of Halloween in Wonderland available here the little teacup is from Cosmic Trinkets on eBay 

                                                             

I have made the envelope from a sheet of paper from the Steampunk in Halloween range using the new We R Memory Keepers Envelope punch board also available from me
